AshbyCapital has signed five new occupiers across almost 8,000 sq ft of lettings at Kensington Arcade and Wrights Arcade in West London.
The lettings, which include the flagship 2,565 sq ft restaurant unit to Bancone, mean both retail arcades are now fully occupied.
Italian pasta restaurant Bancone has made Wrights Arcade in Kensington its fourth location in London, joining existing restaurants in Covent Garden, Golden Square and Borough Yards. The restaurant will open in spring 2025, benefiting the occupiers located above the arcade in AshbyCapital’s Kensington Building office development.
Also at Wrights Arcade, AshbyCapital has completed a 143 sq ft kiosk letting to coffee shop Treelogy London for their second location in the capital.
Meanwhile, at the neighbouring Kensington Arcade, AshbyCapital has completed three lettings. UVU, the premium sports apparel company, has taken 4,298 sq ft of office space at Unit 3, while Bagel Factory and juice bar Crussh have taken 502 sq ft and 414 sq ft retail units respectively.
The new retailers join existing tenants including Intimissimi, Chango Empanadas, Aux Merveilleux de Fred, Pret a Manger, Leonidas and Gails Bakery.
Acquired by AshbyCapital in February 2019, The Kensington Arcade comprises 15 retail units that form the entrance to High Street Kensington underground station. Connected to the Kensington Arcade is Wrights Arcade, a ground-level retail area linking the Underground station and Wrights Lane, created by AshbyCapital and Janson Urban as part of the Kensington Building.
In addition to new arrivals Bancone and Treelogy, Wrights Arcade includes a 30,000 sq ft Boots store and Urban Greens, the healthy salad outlet.
AshbyCapital was represented by Distrkt for the Bancone letting and Savills for the Treelogy, Bagel Factory and Crussh lettings.
