We would like to congratulate our tenant at One Bartholomew for winning the award for Best Office Interior at the 2021 International Property Awards earlier this month.
Global technology company, The Trade Desk, relocated to One Bartholomew in a move to create a more connected office space with an inspirational environment. Covering 80,000 sq ft across four floors, the bold interior design represents their pioneering approach and plays a crucial role in attracting new staff. The design lifts the limitations of a traditional office by developing a community-focused landscape that reflects the vibrant, people-centric culture of the business.
A key concept of this office design was to make it a welcoming space that balances the sensation of homeliness with an engaging community atmosphere. The main design feature is the tiered seating and central atrium-style space connecting the 10th and 11th floors. This feature was introduced to increase a sense of connectivity and improve staff communications and integration.
The space was built around an activity based working philosophy, equipped with dedicated areas for games tables, a catered kitchen with free snacks and a bar, encouraging people to socialise, eat and collaborate with one another. This landscape creates an office atmosphere that is high-energy, modern and positive, connecting people and empowering them with trust and freedom to support a healthy way of working.
