The office space at The Avenue in London’s West End is now fully let six months after completion.

The Avenue, the new building on the corner of Bedford Avenue and Tottenham Court Road, provides 71,000 sq ft of office space and 14,000 sq ft of retail space over seven floors.

Office tenants at The Avenue include William Hill which has taken 30,000 sq ft as a hub for its tech and marketing operations and global travel technology company Skyscanner which occupies 24,000 sq ft across the top three floors of the building. The final 17,000 sq ft, which took the building to fully-let status, was taken by an unnamed occupier.

Following recent lettings, the retail line-up now includes luggage and travel accessories brand Samsonite, as well as Danish bakery Ole & Steen, British lifestyle brand Cath Kidston and Dutch homewares store Hema. One retail unit remains, offering 4,180 sq ft fronting Tottenham Court Road. Agents for the retail space are CBRE and Nash Bond.

We focus on investing in areas with strong long-term prospects, and particularly favour those set to be transformed by new transport infrastructure. With a new station, the West End project underway and Crossrail arriving next year, Tottenham Court Road has become one of London’s most exciting areas. A vibrant mix of business, retail and entertainment, it is a fitting location for modern, forward-thinking companies and we look forward to seeing our tenants thrive here.
