AshbyCapital has completed a series of retail and office lettings at 200 Aldersgate, the 434,000 sq ft building in London's Farringdon.
The recent lettings total 16,342 sq ft and include retail deals with EAT and Abokado, as well as further space leased to office occupiers including Ford Motor Co. and The Jampur Group. Rents at the building have now exceeded £80 per sq ft.
“When we purchased 200 Aldersgate two years ago, we were attracted by the considerable prospects for rental growth and we are very pleased to be realising our business plan by improving rental levels in these recent deals. The fact that we have achieved over £80 per sq ft on the office space on an upper floor and £66 per sq ft on the upper ground floor to Ford Motor Co., highlights the desirability of both the building itself, which is exemplary in terms of its facilities and finishes, and its location in the west of the City core, which is increasingly benefitting from the improving transport links and amenities of the nearby Smithfield and Farringdon area.
