The West Midlands Growth Company (WMGC) has leased office space at AshbyCapital’s The Colmore Building in Birmingham. WMGC, the region’s economic development agency, has taken 4,700 sq ft on the 11th floor.
Following the letting, 22,709 sq ft of space is available on the 12th floor of The Colmore Building, a 314,000 sq ft office scheme in the centre of Birmingham’s business district.
WMGC will join an array of global tenants including Chubb, Allianz, Investec, Irwin Mitchell, Hogan Lovells, Rathbones and Willis Towers Watson. The office has achieved an ‘excellent’ BREEAM environmental and sustainability rating.

It is the second significant letting to be revealed in Birmingham this week: law firms Showsmiths committed to 33,000 sq ft at 103 Colmore Row.
