AshbyCapital is delighted to have been shortlisted twice at the EG Awards 2024, having been selected as a finalist in both the Sustainability Award and Regional Deal Award categories.
One of the most prestigious awards in the real estate sector, this year the EG Awards are celebrating their 20th anniversary, with 21 awards highlighting the very best deals, innovations, businesses and individuals in the real estate sector. With hundreds of submissions across these categories, we are honoured to have received two shortlistings from the expert judges, who pored through pages of entries over two days to come up with a shortlist reflecting the best of the best across the real estate market.
We have been shortlisted for the Sustainability Award in recognition of the market-leading buildings that we have created, prioritising sustainability throughout their design, construction and occupation. Whether by diverting construction waste from landfill, repurposing existing structures, facilitating carbon-zero commuting, generating on-site renewable energy or establishing biodiverse habitats, this next level approach to sustainability culminated in AshbyCapital receiving the UK’s highest BREEAM rating for The JJ Mack Building earlier in 2024.
Our partnership with pioneering flexible workspace brand Plus X Innovation at The Future Works to create Slough’s first innovation hub has also been selected as a finalist for the Regional Deal Award. In a deal that marks a departure from a monocultural office or co-working space to a real estate innovation hub, our partnership has created a vibrant workspace offering entrepreneurs business acceleration, product development, and the support of an impressive network of stakeholders and investors to enable growth through innovation.
These shortlistings are testament to the hard work of the AshbyCapital team and reflects the high-quality design and innovation of our buildings. We are looking forward to celebrating with our peers at the awards ceremony at Old Billingsgate on 21 November.
