Former Heron International directory and property bigwig Peter Ferrari is launching Ashby Capital, a new real estate investment fund investing in prime central London property. The fund has £1.5bn to invest, backed by private investors.
The fund will target both income returns and capital appreciation. Investments will include all types: offices, residential, retail and mixed-use, and investments in development opportunities will also form part of the strategy.
Peter, pictured below, is a well known figure in the industry, having amassed over 28 years’ experience in property development and investment.
After a Masters in Land Management from Reading, he spent nine years at London & Edinburgh Trust. He then joined Heron International in 1995 as Director of Acquisitions and Development and was appointed Managing Director in 2009, working on many iconic projects including the tallest building in the city, the Heron Tower.
Commenting on the launch of his new fund Ashby Capital, Peter Ferrari, who will be its Chief Executive, said,
