Law firm BDB Pitmans has agreed a ten year lease at One Bartholomew in the City. It will occupy two floors, totalling 38,156 sq ft of office space.

The agreement was made with landlord AshbyCapital and developer Helical. One Bartholomew has a total of 221,000 sq ft spread across 12 floors. It is part of Barts Square, a three-acre mixed-use development.

Gerald Kaye, chief executive at Helical, said: “We continue to see strong occupational demand for great assets and this letting is another example of a business heading east to Barts Square, attracted by its strong transport links and fantastic public realm.”

Andrew Smith, managing partner at BDB Pitmans, commented: “We are delighted to have secured this space at One Bartholomew.  This is an exciting time for the firm and the move to the new premises will be a key step in achieving the firm’s strategic plans.”

Peter Ferrari, chief executive of AshbyCapital, added: “It is very pleasing to see the momentum behind lettings at One Bartholomew. We are extremely proud of the building and thrilled to see the near completed Barts Square starting to cement its role as a new destination within the City.”
