AshbyCapital’s 200 Aldersgate office building in London’s Farringdon has achieved a Wired Certified Platinum rating, ranking its technology infrastructure as among the best in the UK.

It is the second of Ashby’s offices to achieve the highest connectivity certification after The Colmore Building, in Birmingham.

WiredScore commended 200 Aldersgate for its four unique sources of high-speed wireline fibre connectivity, two separate comms intake locations, secure basement-level comms rooms with ample room to accommodate new equipment and two diverse risers.

Peter Ferrari, chief executive of AshbyCapital, said: “To receive a second platinum WiredScore rating amongst our portfolio of office buildings highlights our commitment to providing occupiers with the best possible experience now and in the future. With companies increasingly working across borders and time zones and doing more business online, fast and reliable connections are more vital than ever.”

AshbyCapital acquired 200 Aldersgate on behalf of its group investment company in 2013. The building is fully let to 27 tenants.

The WiredScore scheme helps developers and landlords to achieve best-in-class connectivity, while enabling occupiers to make an informed decision regarding where they choose to locate their business, by providing greater transparency about the technological infrastructure of a building.
